Preparing for a Trip to Thailand
Ask any avid traveler to list some of their most exciting adventures and odds are that they will include a stop in Thailand. But before you charge up your camera or dust off your backpack, here are few tips to follow to make sure that your experience in Thailand is one for the ages.

Know your culture
Every place you visit will have a different set of customs and this is especially true when visiting Thailand. Before you leave, make sure to check up on some of the most important Thai customs as the last thing you want to do is to offend the locals! Making sure you smile, not pointing at anyone’s feet and dressing appropriately may seem inconsequential but winning over the locals is sure to bring you some inside knowledge to make your trip that much more memorable. And whatever you do, please remember to NEVER mock the Royal Family! As this could lead you into a nice prison cell.

Come prepared!
As of 2017 the Thai Immigration at the airport are asking travelers to show proof of financial stability. In other words you are able to support yourself during your visit. They will ask you to show 20,000 baht (depending on the exchange rate $600.00) in cash, not bank statements or that you have credit cards with this amount open. Cash only!
